The Crazy Skier

On top of the Rocky Mountain peak
a festival began
of dancing stones and wind-swept snow
and flying dirt and land
for once again the mountains shake
rejoicing in their claim
another crazy skier
was taken by their game
thinking he could defeat the wall
of ice-packed freezing snow
he sped on down the mountainside
with the dislodged wall in tow
and tonight the mountains tremble
shake and spit rocks in the air
an inferno brewing deeply
within the frozen lair
a brilliant flame eternal
with every new arrival
a fiery, burning grave
crazy skiers for survival
